Saturday was the big day. The streets of Sisters were decked out in quilts for four city blocks down both sides of the two main streets of town and all of the streets in between. Many quilts were displayed inside of the stores along the way. This small town of 1000 people grew to over 15,000 for the day. We met quilters from all over the world. The smoke had cleared a little, so it wasn't bad walking around town.
